“[I drive a] 1965 Ford Bronco. It’s 53 years old, and I drove it daily for four years until it unexpectedly broke in March. It was my dad’s when he was sixteen, and I got it when I was fifteen. [My dad] taught me to drive in it. The roof comes down, and it’s very fun!

“[I’m from] Williams Lake, so six hours [away]. We had pretty bad fires in 2017 back home so I learned to drive, because there was nothing else you could do. It was a pretty bad forest fire. They eventually evacuated the town and it was a huge deal. They shut down the town and brought police from out of town in, and it was very confusing. I don’t quite remember, because most of the time I wasn’t paying attention, but it got to the point where everybody was supposed to leave. It kind of took out the whole forest, but, I mean, it happens.”
